The guy you don’t want to travel with is probably the same one I try to avoid: the one who uses his smartphone to conduct loud conversations with his business associates or friends while you’re sitting next to him on a bus, just about to embark on your adventure-trip-of-a-lifetime. Then, too, there’s the annoying woman in your group who’s constantly looking down at her handheld device, right at the time you spot a rare species of wildlife. Why did she bother to travel at all, you wonder.
