The Okavango Delta encompasses life at its most fertile: abundant water, sunlight and nutrients fuse to produce a wetland paradise teeming with life. Botswana’s Selinda Spillway is made up of open floodplains and woodlands. The landscape of the Linyanti varies from floodplains to open dry land savannah and forest with sweeping views, creating a perfect ecosystem for a high diversity of wildlife and bird species.
Highlights of this trip include Big Five game-viewing, plus a variety of land-based and water-based activities and cultural encounters.
Days 1-3, Okavango Delta, Botswana: Arrive on Day 1 in to Maun, Botswana. Fly by scheduled charter to the Okavango Delta. Mokoro safaris, motor boat safaris and game drives are possible activities to participate in.
Days 4-6, Selinda Spillway, Botswana: Depart on Day 4 by scheduled charter to the Selinda Spillway. Activities concentrate on nature walks, canoeing, game drives and fishing.
Days 7-9, Linyanti, Botswana: After a light breakfast on Day 7, fly northeast by scheduled charter to the Linyanti Concession. Day and evening game drives.
Day 10, Chobe National Park, Botswana and Livingstone, Zambia: Today, fly by scheduled charter to the northern region of the Chobe National Park. Enjoy a boat cruise on the Chobe River. Depart by scheduled charter to Livingstone, Zambia and transfer by road to your camp along the Zambezi River.
Day 11, Victoria Falls: The grand finale is a guided tour of the Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Transfer to Livingstone Airport for your international flights home.
